Which is better , iPhone 3g or Samsung Galaxy Ace?

I'm going to have to go towards the Galaxy, they are both are the same except the fact that iphones have had a lot of bugs and problems, also the Galaxy applications are pretty much the same as the iphone ones BUT more applications can be used on the Galaxy due to the fact that iphone only accepts apple applications. And you probably do not want to get a second hand iphone.
