How many peso can you take to philippines?

you can only take legally 10.000 Philippine peso ..... why do i know because the money exchange in Scotland told me , you can also take 9000 American dollars or a few thousand in English pounds maybe about 5000 , best thing is to get a debit card , you can get cards you top up nowadays , my advice don't carry a lot of cash . ,, my advice is carry 10.000 peso and 200 English pound and maybe 200 American dollars when you go to fly (then pay your hotel on arrival ) ,many cash machines in the Philippines only allow you to take 4000 peso ***, some don't even take our cards , also many places don't take debit cards .
