What do you think of this article that tries to imply Colombians are genetically modifying marijuana?

This article is somewhat misleading with their loose use of GM, however, with the cost of still very usable older machines and kits dropping signifcantly and working there way into the public sector I suspect that we are less than 5 years away from real GM marijuana. This will become a serious business industry in areas where medical use is approved at the state level.
